Instagram’s ‘Queen Reel Star’ arrested for copper wire theft

A shocking case related to social media has come to light in Latur district of Maharashtra. A 19-year-old girl, who has thousands of followers on Instagram, has been arrested by the police on charges of copper wire theft. The accused girl has been identified as Priya Jitendra Kamble. According to the police, Priya was active on Instagram with the name Queen Reel Star and had about 32 thousand followers on her account. After his arrest, this matter has become a topic of discussion in the area.

Police officials said that the local crime branch team had received information that a girl was stealing copper wire from a construction site. After this, the team took action under the leadership of Inspector Sudhakar Bawkar and caught Priya Kamble from near a school on Wednesday. During interrogation, Priya allegedly admitted that she had stolen copper wire from a construction site located near Buddha Vihar in Prakash Nagar area. According to the police, she used to sell the stolen wires to scrap shopkeepers.

Police recovered Rs 41 thousand from the accused girl.

Police have also recovered Rs 41 thousand from the accused girl. Investigating agencies believe that this amount was received from selling stolen copper wire. In this case, a case of copper wire theft was already registered in MIDC police station. After the arrest, the accused girl has been handed over to MIDC police.

During interrogation, he confessed to stealing copper wire and selling it as scrap.
