He told how bipolar disorder took away all the hair from his head. Honey Singh also told how Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar had advised him to stay away from drugs.

Talking about his stardom from 2011 to 2014, rapper Honey Singh said- I was not happy. During the year 2013-14, I was at the peak of my career. I had no control over myself. My thinking was also quite different then. When I achieved a certain position, my behavior changed.
‘I started talking differently and insulting everyone. I started thinking that I had done all this on my own. I even started calling myself God. I was earning a lot of money, and had become successful at a very young age. While doing all this, I had also got into drugs. My mental health had deteriorated badly, I never liked that version of myself.
Because of what did Honey Singh get ruined?
When Honey Singh was asked the reason behind all this, entertainment industry or fame, he denied it and said that he himself was responsible for his condition. It was his own thoughts and decisions that ruined him. The rapper said- I would not like to blame the entertainment industry for anything. I got the opportunity to share screen space with many legends and at such a young age I had access to be connected to their lives.
‘People like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar – who are very simple people, there is no darkness in them, they used to see me doing all that and asked me to stay away because all that was wrong. Especially Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Shahrukh Khan told me many times that all this will spoil, ruin and destroy you.
Honey Singh fell ill in the year 2015. He stayed away from music for about three years. During this time he used to stay in his room only. This period was very difficult for the rapper, because he used to pray for his death all the time. However, he made his comeback in the year 2018. But Honey Singh could not get back the same stardom that he experienced from 2011 to 2014.
