Historical fort of King Kansa or mosque-cemetery?
At the center of this entire controversy is a historical place of Malihabad. The Pasi community claims that what is currently being described as a mosque and a graveyard is actually the fort of the 11th century Nagvanshi ruler King Kansa. He says that this historical heritage has been changed in a wrong way. To strengthen its point, the society has cited the old gazetteer, according to which King Kansa had killed two generals of the foreign invader Salar Masood Ghazi in this area.

Letter to the Chief Minister and announcement of reading Hanuman Chalisa
In view of the tension, representatives of Pasi community have written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanding immediate intervention. The society says that if Namaz is offered continuously there, then they will recite Hanuman Chalisa there. On the other hand, the Muslim community is calling it their mosque and tomb. At present, the administration is on full alert mode to prevent possible conflict. The organization claims that this campaign will connect the entire Hindu society along with the Pasi community.
