Health Infrastructure Minister Melissa Horne has responded to “extremely serious allegations” a senior public servant was pressured to sack a company disliked by the CFMEU from a government project, writing to the state’s infrastructure agency to demand assurances of proper behaviour.
The letter, posted to Horne’s public Facebook page, came just hours after Premier Jacinta Allan said there was “no basis” for the claim and represents a rare instance of a minister breaking ranks with the premier.
