Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has appointed a new chief executive.
Dr Michael Holland, a clinician and experienced NHS leader, took up the role on Monday, September 7, following his previous position at North London NHS Foundation Trust.
He will lead Oxford Health in delivering community, mental health, and learning disability services across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, and neighbouring areas.
Dr Holland said: “I am thrilled to be joining Oxford Health and already have a strong sense of the passion and dedication of colleagues across the organisation.
“My first priority will be to listen, learn, and understand what matters most to our staff, patients, and partners so I can build on the strong foundations already in place across Oxford Health.
“I look forward to visiting services and meeting my new colleagues over the coming months.”
He succeeds Grant Macdonald, who has retired following a nearly 40-year career in the NHS.
Dr Holland was selected through a highly competitive recruitment process.
