Devon Ke Dev Mahadev actor Sonarika Bhadoria shared a six-slide post about the scrutiny women face over their bodies after pregnancy. Her post came amid online comments about Katrina Kaif’s appearance following a recent public outing. The television actor welcomed a baby girl, just a month after Katrina, in December 2025.
She urged people to show compassion towards postpartum mothers and reminded women that their bodies do not need to look the same after childbirth.
Sonarika did not name anyone in the post. However, it came amid the ongoing online discussion around Katrina, who was recently trolled over her appearance following a public outing with husband Vicky Kaushal.
“There is something deeply cruel about looking at a woman who has just brought life into this world and deciding that her body is now public property,” Sonarika wrote.
She went on to highlight some of the physical changes women can experience after pregnancy, including stretch marks, changes to the stomach and breasts, hair loss and tiredness.
“You don’t see the nights she spent awake, feeding a tiny human while her own body begged for rest,” she wrote, adding that people often fail to see the physical and emotional toll of motherhood.
