Two people have been killed and three others injured in a horror head-on collision.
Paramedics said two cars collided along Broken Head Rd in Suffolk Park, south of Byron Bay, before a third vehicle crashed into the wreckage about 10.30am on Saturday.
Police said initial investigations indicated a maroon Nissan had been travelling north on the incorrect side of the road when it collided head-on with a white Kia sedan travelling south.
