A large avalanche struck in the mountainous Dachstein region of the Austrian Alps on Sunday.
At least 6 people have actually passed away in two separate avalanches in the Austrian Alps, cops state.
5 people, thought to be Czech nationals, were killed in the mountainous Dachstein region, about 80 km (50 miles) south-east of Salzburg.
They were captured while on a snowshoeing journey when the avalanche struck about 2,800 m (9,200 feet) up, authorities said.
