An appeal from former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to people of the State to come out on streets to light candle lights and lamps landed him in difficulty late on Saturday night, resulting in him changing the video appeal by the brand-new one on Sunday.

In the video Mr. Fadnavis stated, “Every citizen ought to participate in the drive by lighting a light and come to their doors, streets, terraces …”
