iCloud folder sharing

Until recently, the only method iPhone, iPad or Mac owners could share folders of crucial documents and photos was to use a third-party service such as Dropbox Now a software update from Apple lets you utilize your iCloud Drive storage to keep and share a file, whether it’s a work presentation, a collection of GIFs in between good friends or your kid’s remote knowing research.

Not too long earlier, Dropbox was the service to utilize for saving and sharing files and folders online. With Apple’s iCloud platform expanding beyond single-file sharing, I don’t see myself ever sharing files with Dropbox once again. I have actually been searching for a Dropbox replacement since March 2019 when the business announced free users would be limited to linking their account to just three gadgets.

And with the majority of my family and friends using Apple products, the reality that iCloud Drive is already integrated in should make the shift much easier for everyone involved. Especially me.

Turning on and customizing settings for a shared folder aren’t all that apparent, once you understand where to look, the procedure is easy.
