United States President Donald Trump has actually stated he has actually instructed his administration to stop funding to the World Health Organization (WHO).
He said the WHO had “stopped working in its basic task” in its response to the coronavirus outbreak.
He accused the UN body of mishandling and covering up the spread of the infection after it emerged in China, and said it needs to be held liable.
Mr Trump has formerly accused the WHO of being prejudiced towards China.
The United States president has himself come under criticism in your home over his handling of the break out.
” I am directing my administration to stop funding while a review is performed to assess the World Health Company’s role in seriously mishandling and covering the spread of the coronavirus,” Mr Trump told a press conference at the White Home.

Responding to Mr Trump’s remarks, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said now was “not the time” to be cutting resources for the WHO.
The United States is the WHO’s greatest single funder, providing $400 m (₤316 m) in 2015 – simply under 15%of its overall budget.
China’s contribution in 2018-19 was practically $76 m in evaluated contributions and about $10 m in voluntary financing, according to the WHO website.
