Apple AirPods are India’s ‘favourite’ true wireless headphones
Apple AirPods are among one of the biggest success stories of the year 2019. The AirPods not only ruled the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones category for the year, but also made a beeline of similar products from competitors. In India too, AirPods seem to be selling well and leading the TWS category as per a new report.
As per the latest report from Counterpoint Research, Apple captured the maximum chunk of the Indian hearables market with a 27% market share in 2019. Apple is followed by Noise, JBL, Samsung and Realme in the same order. These five make for the five highest-selling brands in the TWS category in the country. Their marketshare stands at 12%, 8%, 7% and 7% respectively. Click here for the full story.
