An urgent alert sent out to GPs stated that extensive care departments in London and other parts of the UK have been dealing with significantly sick kids with uncommon symptoms.
The alert, issued by NHS England, said there was “a growing issue” that a coronavirus-related inflammatory syndrome is emerging in kids in the UK or that there may be another, as yet unknown, infection linked to these cases.
