A day after actor Irrfan Khan’s demise, members of the political and movie fraternity are grieving the death of another important figure in the Bollywood. Veteran star Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 on Thursday morning.
He had actually been under treatment for cancer and was confessed to Sir HN Reliance Structure Healthcare Facility in Mumbai on Wednesday night
I am destroyed, says Amitabh Bachchan
Seasoned star Amitabh Bachchan, who was Rishi Kapoor’s co-star in his most recent film 102 Not Out was among the very first to break the news of Kapoor’s death on Twitter.
” He disappears.! Rishi Kapoor. gone. just died. I am destroyed!” wrote Bachchan on Twitter. He later deleted the tweet.
Minister of Info and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar was among the firsts from the political world to condole Rishi Kapoor’s death.
” The unexpected demise of actor Rishi Kapoor is shocking. He was not only a terrific star but a great person. Wholehearted acknowledgements to his household, good friends and fans,” he wrote on Twitter.
