Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee in a conversation with previous Congress president Rahul Gandhi, a modified video of which was released by the celebration on Tuesday, stated India required stimulus package to increase spending and revive demand to deal with the difficulty presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is the second conversation in a series of dialogues planned by the Congress on the unique coronavirus challenge.

Inquired about micro little medium business (MSMEs) going bankrupt because of a lockdown shock, Dr. Banerjee said costs needs to be increased to revive demand and the economy.
” That’s the reason, a lot of us have been saying that we require a stimulus plan. That’s what the U.S. is doing, Japan is doing, Europe is doing.
