The Union Health Ministry has revised its discharge guidelines for COVID-19 patients, specifying that only those with serious health problem requirement to be checked (through a swab test) and an unfavorable report needs to be acquired before discharge.
The current standard includes that other classifications of patients, consisting of very mild, mild, pre-symptomatic and moderate cases, need not be tested prior to discharge.
