Caravan of Georgia activists to hold rally for killed black jogger

ATLANTA (Reuters) – A caravan of vehicles loaded with protesters will travel from Atlanta to the small coastal neighborhood of Brunswick on Saturday to rally for a young black jogger eliminated by 2 white males who chased him down and shot him because they thought he was an intruder.

Video of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, 25, fired up outrage amongst activists who saw his death as the current U.S. case of white perpetrators eliminating a black guy and going unpunished. The father-and-son suspects were not detained till weeks after the shooting, and just days after the video surfaced online.
