A couple who recorded on a popular YouTube channel their life with an autistic young child embraced from China are facing a backlash after they exposed he had been positioned with another family.
Myka Stauffer and her other half James, based in Ohio, produced videos about Huxley’s adoption and his challenges.
Since 2017 the couple received sponsorship offers and video earnings.
While some comprehended the choice, critics accused the pair of making use of Huxley to develop their YouTube profession.
The news that Huxley is living completely with another household was exposed on Tuesday after fans discovered he had not been seen in a video for a long time.
The couple stated undefined behavioural issues from Huxley had made life too challenging for the household, which includes four other kids.
Content on the couple’s YouTube account The Stauffer Life has now been erased.
