The security forces got a suggestion off about the presence of militants in Wanpora location.
2 militants were on Saturday killed in an operation of the security forces in Wanpora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, cops said.
An authorities spokesman said the identities of the slain militants were being established.
The duo was eliminated when a joint group of the authorities, the Army’s 01 RR and the CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Wanpora and surrounded them.
” The hiding militants opened fire at the security forces. In the encounter, 2 militants were eliminated,” the spokesperson stated.
