Making Veggie Burgers Doesn’t Help The Environment, Difficult CEO States

Impossible Foods has no interest in making a veggie hamburger that tastes like meat, its creator and CEO said Friday.
Vegetable hamburgers do not serve the business’s objective, said Patrick Brown– to resolve “the disastrous impact of the use of animals as a food innovation”– because veggie burgers accommodate vegetarians, not predators.
” All the plant-based foods that have been produced in the past– if you take a look at what remained in the heads of the people who produced them– their target customer was somebody who is trying to find an alternative, i.e. people who want to have a more vegetarian diet plan or something like that,” Brown stated in a Zoom webinar. “If that’s your customer, you’re not going to have any result on the environment concerns because that’s a very little population.”.
