Adityanath must be told it’s not appropriate to threaten Nepal: Oli

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath should be told not to threaten Nepal, and India’s claim on the Kalapani region is based on unsound facts, Prime Mnister K.P. Sharma Oli stated on Wednesday in the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Nepalese parliament.

” Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Adityanath ji has actually said specific aspects of Nepal. His remarks are improper and not legitimate. Someone in a responsible position in the Main federal government [of India] must request him not to discuss issues that are not part of his domain and he should be told that comments that threaten Nepal will be condemned”, Mr. Oli stated in action to a question on Mr. Adityanath’s current declarations.

Speaking on Nepal’s claim on the Kalapani region, Mr. Adityanath said recently, “Prior to determining political boundary, Nepal should think about the effects and it ought to also remember what took place to Tibet”.
