New map declares the contested territory of Limpiyadhura-Kalapani-Lipulekh.

The upper Home of Nepal Parliament on Thursday passed the Second Constitution Change Bill 2077 (Vikram age), with all 59 members enacting favour of the brand-new map that declares the disputed area of Limpiyadhura-Kalapani-Lipulekh.

The ballot completed the legal move that gives constitutional status to the map, which was unveiled after the Kalapani territorial conflict heightened in May.

Nepal Communist Party’s Deputy Chief of Foreign Affairs Bishnu Rijal said the Costs would now be forwarded to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari for her signature, following which the amendment would enter into the Constitution.
