Brazen and broad-scale, Beijing’s cyber intrusions in Australia are becoming a threat to sovereignty and might weaken national strength.
That was the security recommendations which started a series of events that culminated in the Prime Minister declaring on Friday that Australia was dealing with heightening online attacks

He announced that a “advanced state-based cyber actor” was “currently” attacking Australian organisations
” This activity is targeting Australian organisations throughout a variety of sectors, consisting of all levels of government, market, political organisations, education, health, essential service providers and operators of other crucial infrastructure,” he said.
Morrison said the cyber attacks were “ongoing” and that their frequency and scale were increasing.
