NEW DELHI: After opposition parties raised questions over PM Narendra Modi‘s remarks on the Ladakh stand-off at the all-party meet, several leaders from different parties have said that the PM gave convincing answers and the nation should be united at this time.
During the all-party meeting on Friday, PM Modi has said that nobody had intruded India’s borders and none of the posts had come under anyone’s custody. The opposition had asked if there was no transgression by the Chinese military in Galwan Valley, then where did Indian soldiers die.
Saying that he was concerned by the “manufactured controversy” surrounding the all-party meet, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy asserted that this is the time to “showcase our unity and solidarity” with our armed forces and not the time to point fingers or find faults.
He added, “Hon’ble PM and other Ministers gave very convincing answers at the APM. Nation is and should be united on this subject. Unity brings strength and division exhibits weakness.”
