TUESDAY UPDATES: Boone County gains 34 COVID-19 cases

UPDATE 9: 15 P.M.: Boone County reported an additional 34 cases Tuesday.

According to Columbia’s site, there are now a total of 547 cases in the county. Of those cases, 190 are active.

Health authorities say 355 people have been released from seclusion.

According to the city’s dashboard an overall of 21 Boone County citizens have actually been hospitalized with COVID-19 Of those 21 individuals, seven are currently hospitalized.

UPDATE 6: 30 P.M.: Camden County health officials reported another death associated to COVID-19 on Tuesday.
