The number of active COVID-19 break outs in Colorado increased this week for the first time because June, but development in cases and deaths related to those clusters remained relatively modest.

Overall cases connected to the state’s break outs passed the 10,000 mark in the most recent report, increasing 3.7%. That’s the greatest rate of increase in three weeks, but well below May, when cases were increasing by a minimum of 20%most weeks.
The biggest brand-new outbreak was at the Buena Vista Correctional Complex, where 35 detainees and four team member evaluated positive.
Other noteworthy new break outs were:
- Colorado Academy summer camp, Lakewood: 21 cases
