Ms Cooke said her experience caring for her ill father “came back to me during the duration where I didn’t work, and I believed this is my opportunity to alter careers while I’m not used and seize the day to return to study”.
The viewed stability of jobs in aged care also motivated her.
” It was one of the sectors I identified wasn’t being hit as hard as a few of the other markets,” she stated.
” I am taking a look at it as a stable future profession option.”
