The mayor of Portland in Oregon has actually restored his call for federal troops to leave the US city, accusing them of violent techniques versus protesters.

His remarks echoed those of Oregon Guv Kate Brown, who explained the presence of federal troops in the city as “simply political theatre” from the Donald Trump administration.
Ms Brown informed MSNBC that she had asked the federal government on Tuesday to get rid of the soldiers, stating: “You are escalating an already challenging situation.”
