US Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf has said federal agents “will not pull back” in their efforts to safeguard government buildings in Portland.
US President Donald Trump sent out federal representatives to Portland in Oregon to end weeks of anti-racism demonstrations there.
Speaking throughout a press conference on Tuesday, Mr Wolf said federal law enforcement officers in Portland were only targeting and apprehending demonstrators who had actually been recognized as being included in “criminal activity”.
