China was not in favour of resuming the procedure of clarifying the Line of Actual Control (LAC) because it could “produce new disputes”, its Ambassador to India Sun Weidong stated on Thursday.
What is the actual level of disengagement along the LAC?
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated “there has been some development made” towards total disengagement along the LAC, “however the disengagement process has as yet not been completed”.
