The number of dead has actually risen progressively over the last few days.
A minimum of 86 individuals have passed away in current days as a result of drinking illegally-made alcohol, authorities in the northern Indian state of Punjab say.
On Saturday, police carried out more than 100 raids, seizing materials of the suspected alcohol and making 25 arrests.
