Surabaya’s Kamtim discharged after a month of treatment.

A 100- year-old Indonesian woman has recovered from COVID-19, making her the country’s oldest survivor of the deadly breathing health problem.

Kamtim, who like numerous Indonesians passes one name, was discharged from medical facility this week after a month of treatment in her home town Surabaya, Indonesia’s second-biggest city, officials said.

A motivation

East Java Guv Khofifah Indar Parawansa said she hoped Ms. Kamtim’s story would supercharge at-risk residents– the disease is especially hazardous for older individuals and those with persistent conditions.

” I hope her recovery can motivate senior people during the pandemic,” Ms. Parawansa added.
