Mehrajudin Malla was kidnapped in Sopore.
A municipality committee vice-president associated to the BJP, who was abducted by unidentified individuals in Baramulla on Wednesday morning, was rescued later on in the day by the cops.
” The abducted BJP leader has actually been saved,” Inspector-General Police of Kashmir Vijay Kumar told The Hindu late in the evening. The information of the rescue operation were not provided but the police stated militants were behind the kidnapping of Mehrajuddin Malla.
