The administration’s bulldozer has run on the illegal properties of Ajay Pratap Singh alias Ramu, the main accused in the murder of two officers in the HPCL plant of Badaun. Uttar Pradesh News: The administration has taken major action in the case of murder of two officers at HPCL’s CBG plant located in Sahjani, Badaun. Bulldozer action has been taken on the illegal properties of the main accused Ajay Pratap Singh alias Ramu. The district administration team, in the presence of police force, has demolished the illegal shops built on the roadside outside Sahjani village of the accused. It is being told that these shops were built without permission and during the investigation by the administration, they were found illegal.

According to administrative officials, this action was taken keeping law and order in mind and the process of prior notice to remove illegal construction was completed. Full police force was present during the bulldozer action.

It is noteworthy that on March 12, accused Ajay Pratap Singh had entered the HPCL plant located in Sahjani and shot dead Deputy General Manager Sudhir Kumar Gupta and AGM Harshit Mishra. After the incident, the police arrested him in an encounter. He was shot in both his legs.

Let us tell you that in this case, the station in-charge and light in-charge of Moosajhaag police station have already been suspended. Whereas the then SSP of Badaun has also been removed. Apart from this, SIT has also been formed to investigate the entire matter. The investigation team has started its work.

The administration says that other properties belonging to the accused are also being investigated and if any illegal construction is found then action will be taken against him also. At present, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident. Police is alert and peace is maintained.

SDM’s statement

Dataganj SDM Dharmendra Singh said that the administration has taken major action against the illegal encroachment of the double murder accused. About 12 illegal shops built on the roadside were first identified and given notice, after which they were demolished by using bulldozers. During investigation, another shop of the accused was found to be built on barren land, which has been vacated and sealed. According to the SDM, strict legal action is being taken in this matter under Section 37 of the Revenue Act.
