In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, a married couple committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances. The police informed about the incident on Monday. Noorpur police station in -charge Ravindra Kumar said that Saurabh (28) and Khushboo (26), residents of Pipla Jagir village, were found unconscious near a brick kiln on Sunday night. Both were already married but there was a love affair between them.
According to the report of the news agency, the villagers rushed him to the hospital in critical condition, where he died on Monday during treatment. According to the police, both the deceased Saurabh and Khushboo were married, but they had a love affair for the last two years. It is being told that he took this step due to society and family pressure.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. Police officials said that the case is being investigated so that the real reason behind the suicide can be ascertained.
