A tragic accident took place on the day of Diwali in Kanpur, UP, where a fire that broke out from a lamp kept in an indoor temple became the cause of death of three people. It is being told that the house was filled with smoke due to the fire, due to which the husband, wife and the maid suffocated and died. The pet cat of the house also died in this accident.
The deceased include biscuit businessman Shyam Dasani, resident of Pandu Nagar of Kakadev, wife Kanika Dasani and maid Chhavi. The death of three people on the day of Diwali created a stir. After receiving the information, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot in the night and brought the fire under control. Then the burnt people were admitted to the hospital, but by then it was too late.
According to the information received, the incident happened last night. Sanjay Shyam Dasani (48) lived with his wife Kanika Shyam Dasani and house maid Chhavi Chauhan in a house located in Pandu Nagar. On the day of Diwali, after the puja, the family lit a lamp in the temple and slept. But during this time suddenly a fire broke out. Due to which three people lost their lives.

It is being told that the fire started in the curtain from the lamp and then spread in the room. After the fire, the house was filled with smoke, due to which all three died due to suffocation. After 12 o’clock in the night, police reached there after getting information about the incident. Fire brigade and forensic team were also there along with the police.
It was fortunate that the son of the deceased businessman had gone out at the time of the incident, otherwise he too could have died. City businessmen are flocking to Sanjay Shyam Dasani’s house. There is mourning in the family on the festival day. At present, the police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
