A video of the brutal beating of students by a police officer has surfaced at Sankatmochan police post in Lanka police station area of Varanasi. In the video, outpost incharge Naveen Chaturvedi is seen holding her hair and beating them with sticks and beating them with sticks. After the matter came to light, the police administration has taken strict action and suspended the outpost incharge with immediate effect.
The incident is of a police post located near Sankatmochan temple. Outpost incharge Naveen Chaturvedi, posted here, grabbed the hair of a student and slammed him brutally. The student kept on crying for his innocence and pleaded to leave the name of Bajrangbali. However, the police officer did not stop. Similarly, a third degree torture was also done with another student.

DCP take cognizance, accused officer suspended
Acting on this, the outpost in -charge Naveen Chaturvedi called the students of a faction to the outpost and started beating them mercilessly. As soon as the matter reached the police officials, DCP Gaurav Banswal of Kashi zone, taking a tough stance, suspended the accused outpost in -charge. He said that no policeman will be allowed to take the law in hand and action will also be taken against other culprits.
