Many people were injured in a stampede at the VIP gate of Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Shastri in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The reason for this stampede is said to be the inconvenience caused due to not getting entry despite having VIP pass. The organizing committee is being accused of disorganization, while some people have complained about lack of security arrangements.
Injured woman Chandrakala Somani told that she had a VIP pass, but she was stopped at the entry gate. He said, despite having VIP pass, they were not allowed inside. This created chaos there. If we had lost our lives in such a crowd, whose responsibility would it have been? Chandrakala also alleged that the policemen misbehaved with her.

At the same time, Baba Mahant Banwarisharan of Kathia who was present in this event expressed his displeasure regarding the arrangements. Accusing the organizing committee of negligence, he said that the arbitrariness being meted out to VIP pass holders is wrong. Mahant said, security is necessary, but there should not be such chaos and arbitrariness. There was no discussion with us about VIP pass.

Giving clarification, Katha Committee coordinator Ashish said that many people were trying to go inside with duplicate VIP passes. For this reason the entry had to be stopped. He said that we had issued only a limited number of passes, but many people made duplicate passes, which led to this chaos.
