‘Tera Mera Rishta Kya…’, sloganeering in Jamia on the anniversary of anti-CAA protest

During the protest against CAA five years ago, Delhi Police had gone inside Jamia. On 16 December, a day after the 5th anniversary of this incident, there was heavy sloganeering in the Jamia Millia Islamia University campus.

Once again an incident of sloganeering has come to light inside the Jamia Millia Islamia University campus of the capital Delhi. In fact, a day after the 5th anniversary of the anti-CAA protests in 2019 and the police entering the campus, sloganeering has taken place on the campus.

Let us tell you that on 15 December 2019, violence was seen around the Jamia campus during the protest against CAA/NRC. In protest against this, students raised slogans on Monday night.

The library was closed a day ago

A day before this demonstration, on December 15, Jamia University had suspended classes. And a notice was issued to close the canteen along with the library. No student was allowed entry into the university campus. The leftist-backed All India Students Association (AISA) had attacked the university administration over this decision.

Student organization had alleged

AISA had alleged that a remembrance program was organized regarding the 2019 anti-CAA protests and police brutality on the campus. But since students did not reach the campus, Sunday classes were suspended by the university administration. Also the library was also closed.

Police had entered Jamia campus

Let us tell you that on December 15, 2019, Delhi Police had entered the Jamia campus after the protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. During this period the students were beaten up. Students across the country had protested regarding this.
