South Africa vs India 3rd T20I Highlights: Tilak Verma was in a different color in the Centurion T20 on 13 November. He scored a brilliant century in the third match of the four-match series against South Africa. After this, his celebration was worth seeing, he jumped in the air and gave a flying kiss towards the dugout of Team India.

Tilak scored a century in 51 balls at the Supersport Park in Centurion and India scored 219 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. With this century he also made a great record in his name. He became the youngest player to score a century against South Africa. He destroyed the 14 year old record made by Raina. Then Raina scored a century at the age of 23 years and 156 days.

At the same time, 22-year-old Tilak Verma became the second youngest player after Yashasvi Jaiswal to score a century in T20 International. This star batsman scored his first century in his 19th match of this format.

Tilak Verma remained unbeaten after scoring 107 runs and hit eight fours and seven sixes. Overall, maturity was visible in Tilak’s batting, due to which India made its highest score so far in a T20 match in South Africa. Apart from Tilak, Abhishek Sharma played a stormy inning of 50 runs in 25 balls for India in this match.

Whereas for Africa, Marco Jansen played the highest innings of 54 runs in 17 balls. Jansen has become the second African cricketer to score the fastest fifty in 16 balls. The fastest fifty for Africa was scored by Quinton de Kock in 15 balls. This fifty came against West Indies in Centurion in March 2023. In the current match, Heinrich Klaasen scored 41 runs on 22 balls.

For the Indian team, Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets and Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets. While Hardik Pandya and Akshar Patel achieved 1 success each. Varun gave away 54 runs in 4 overs while Pandya gave away 50 runs.

‘Player of the Match’ Tilak said about his innings that he was waiting for a century for a long time. He said- This is a great feeling after returning from injury. The wicket was double paced and challenging in the beginning. However, it got better after some time.
