Thank you for reading our live coverage of day three of Alan Jones’ indecent assault and sexual touching trial.
We have been limited in what can be reported from today’s hearing, owing to a non-publication order over much of the cross-examination of complainant “J”, the first witness to give evidence in the lengthy trial.
The trial resumes tomorrow at 10am as the cross-examination of “J” by Alan Jones’ barrister, Gabrielle Bashir, SC, continues. We will keep you updated throughout tomorrow’s hearing.

Witness “J”, the first complainant to give evidence in Alan Jones’ sexual touching and indecent assault trial, is continuing to give evidence this afternoon.
He is being questioned by Jones’ barrister, Gabrielle Bashir, SC. We anticipate that we will be able to report on some of this evidence at a later date. For now, it remains covered by a non-publication order.
