BIG W is now Australia’s most affordable K-beauty destination with 88 new viral products available to shop from today

BIG W is about to become every K-beauty fan’s first stop, with viral skincare and makeup arriving from Thursday.

The hunt for viral Korean skincare has often meant scrolling through online retailers, waiting weeks for shipping or paying premium prices for products everyone on TikTok seems to own. That is starting to change.

BIG W is making its biggest move yet into the booming K-beauty market, with 88 new products from some of South Korea’s most recognisable skincare and makeup brands rolling out to stores from Thursday.

Full availability is expected by early next week, giving Australian shoppers easier access to some of social media’s most talked-about beauty buys while doing the weekly grocery shop.

The latest arrivals include Biodance, Medicube, TirTir, Beauty of Joseon and TORRIDEN, taking BIG W’s Korean beauty range to more than 126 products.

They join existing favourites including COSRX, SKIN1004 and SOME BY MI, which have already helped transform K-beauty into one of the retailer’s strongest performing beauty categories.

Perhaps the most anticipated arrival is Medicube. Beauty fans have already spotted the brand appearing in selected stores over recent weeks, with social media documenting shoppers rushing to snap up products before the official rollout.

According to BIG W, thousands of Medicube products have already sold, making it one of the retailer’s most sought-after skincare brands before the full launch has even begun.

Biodance is bringing its Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, the overnight sheet mask that became an internet sensation thanks to videos showing the mask gradually turning transparent as it delivers hydration.

Torriden Dive-In Low Hyaluronic Acid Mask costs just $4, while the Solid-In Ceramide Lip Essence comes in at only $8, proving that trying Korean skincare does not have to come with a luxury price tag.

Affordability remains one of the biggest reasons BIG W’s beauty aisle is attracting attention.

BIG W Senior Category Manager Svet Rodgers said the expansion was focused on making innovative skincare more accessible for Australian shoppers.

“We’re constantly on the lookout for the latest must-have brands to bring to our stores, because Aussies shouldn’t have to search far and wide or pay premium prices for globally trending products,” Rodgers said.

The rollout coincides with BIG W’s Big Beauty Sale, where shoppers can save up to 50 per cent across a broader range of beauty brands including MCoBeauty and Neutrogena.

With products starting from just $4, viral skincare no longer feels like something reserved for overseas beauty hauls.

Instead, Australia’s latest K-beauty obsession could be waiting in the same aisle as your weekly essentials.
