Today Bose has unveiled the new Sport Open Earbuds and the Ultra Open Earbuds. Both of these are “designed to create more listening moments across active pursuits and everyday life”, the company says. These second-generation Ultra Open Earbuds represent Bose’s new flagship open-ear experience, while the new Sport Open Earbuds are the more affordable (yet still not cheap) option.
The Ultra Open Earbuds have a newly engineered driver that delivers deeper bass and a higher volume than the first-gen model. Snapdragon Sound support is also there, with aptX Adaptive for high-quality audio. SpeechClarity technology keeps calls clear and natural while Auto Volume adjusts to fluctuations in the environment.

These also have Cinema Mode, powered by Bose TrueSpatial technology, which “creates a wider, more immersive soundstage while keeping dialogue sharp, clear, and precisely centered” for a “theater-like experience that works with any content source”.

The new Ultra Open Earbuds have a “refined metallic cap with a beveled finish” and a redesigned case that can stand upright and supports wireless charging. Battery life is up to 9 hours on the buds, and the case provides an additional 19.5 hours of charge.
