A man who died after being Tasered on a west London bridge and then pulled from the River Thames used to be no longer armed with a screwdriver however used to be holding a firelighter, the police watchdog stated.

Officers were attempting to detain Oladeji Adeyemi Omishore, 41, after reports he used to be armed with a screwdriver on Chelsea Bridge Avenue on 4 June.

He fled and ended up in the river.
