Hyderabad: Frail Telugu Desam (TD) MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar has been named as the principle accused and organiser of the rooster fight making a bet at a mango grove in Patancheru by the Sangareddy police.
On Wednesday evening, a crew of police led by Patancheru deputy superintendent of police Bhim Reddy raided a mango grove the establish Prabhakar and others were organising roosters fights. “All the highest intention by the raid on Wednesday evening, we arrested Akkinin Satish, Barala Srinivas, and 19 others. We seized Rs 13.12 lakh cash, 26 vehicles, 27 mobiles and 31 dwell roosters. We chanced on that four of the roosters were tiring on the premises. High accused Prabhakar has diverse contacts and is a smartly-identified organiser of rooster fights,” said the respectable, adding that three special teams were fashioned to ticket and nab him.
While the former MLA denied any involvement within the racket, the Sangareddy police division released CCTV photographs of him leaving the distance and fashioned three teams to arrest him. Chintamaneni Prabhakar, a former TD MLA from Denduluru in Andhra Pradesh, is a frequent organiser of such rooster fights, per Bhim Reddy. In maintaining with the police respectable, the opposite organisers were Akkineni Satish, a contractor, Barala Srinivas, Krishnam Raju, and Muvva Nani alias Prakash.
Meanwhile, Chintamaneni Prabhakar took to social media to claim that “some of us” are deliberately spreading false info about him and urged his opponents to condo the realm politically in role of spewing venom with malicious intent.
