Twitter accounts of several prominent United States figures were hijacked in an apparent Bitcoin fraud on 15 July.
They included previous President Barack Obama, Amazon employer Jeff Bezos, entrepreneur Elon Musk, Microsoft creator Expense Gates, Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden and truth star Kim Kardashian West, who all incorrectly tweeted out requests for Bitcoin donations.
