Meghan Markle’s birthday tribute revealed some of the hobbies their children have embraced as they grow up.
In a series of personal photographs shared to celebrate Harry’s birthday, Princess Lilibet was pictured enjoying the ski slopes, while Archie appeared to be getting to grips with archery.
The snapshots also showed that photography has become something of a family passion.
Lilibet was seen using a Polaroid camera to take a photograph of her father, echoing an interest her older brother Archie developed several years ago.
Meghan previously revealed in 2023 that Archie had started learning about photography from her close friend, filmmaker and photographer Misan Harriman.
At the time, he was just four years old, but had already developed a very clear idea of the kind of camera he wanted.
“Four-and-a-half-year-old son – he would say ‘I’m not four, I’m four and a half’ – Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us. And, I bought Archie a camera,” the Duchess explained.
The Duchess then shared a rather amusing reaction from her young son, who was apparently unimpressed by the camera she had chosen for him.
“He said ‘But it’s not a Leica like Misan’s?’” she recalled.
Meghan laughed as she admitted she quickly ruled out buying the expensive camera, telling the little Prince: “You are not getting a Leica, not even for Christmas.”
Archie’s early fascination with photography, which now appears to have been passed down to his younger sister.
