RSPCA confirms investigation into corella deaths north of Adelaide

The RSPCA has confirmed it is investigating the death of more than 50 little corellas, which began falling out of trees in a suburb north of Adelaide this week.

Caspers Bird Rescue spokeswoman Sarah King said her group received a report on Saturday after dead and dying birds were found at Angle Vale, about 30 kilometres north of Adelaide.

She said the group’s volunteers found about 50 birds dead, some of whom were shot, and some which appear to have been poisoned.
