Police in New South Wales have won a Supreme Court bid to forbid Sydney’s weekend Black Lives Matter march.

NSW Cops took organisers to court, concerned the occasion would breach COVID-19 public health orders about social distancing after about 10,000 people flagged an objective to attend.

Justice Desmond Fagan acknowledged he was stabilizing the identified right of public assembly versus health dangers, however ultimately stated a rally of even 5,000 individuals was “a very unfavorable concept” given the current health guidance.

” The exercise of the essential right of assembly … is not removed by the present public health order, it is delayed,” Justice Fagan said.
