Five patrol cars were harmed in a wild chase through Western Sydney early Saturday early morning. The drama started simply after midnight when authorities dove on Toongabbie Rd Girraween as a guy was apparently attempting to take a truck. Know the news with the 7NEWS app: Download today However the male supposedly left in the truck and smashed into a prime mover parked close by before heading along Gilba Rd and crashing into a fence on Oramzi Rd, with authorities pursuing the lorry. The chase went on through a number of streets before the truck crashed once again, this time into a parked Toyota Camry on Normac Rd in Girraween. 5 patrol car were harmed in the rampage through Western Sydney. Credit: 7NEWS Still, the truck continued, making its method on to the Great Western Hwy and along Blacktown Rd towards the crossway of Cornelia Rd and Ellam Dr, Toongabbie. Roadway spikes were released at the crossway of Aldgate Street and once again near Metella Rd, blocking escape paths, and an obstruction was developed at the crossway of the Great Western Hwy and Tarlington Pl, Prospect. The 45-year-old guy driving the truck was dealt with at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being required to Westmead Hospital for evaluation, where he stayed on Saturday early morning. 5 patrol car were harmed in the event and one officer was evaluated by paramedics after the air bags in his lorry were released when his lorry struck a power pole. There were no other reports of injuries to cops or other roadway users. Queries continue.
